„Tante Mascha, es ist immer so kuschelig warm in unserem „Zufluchtsort“. Ich würde gerne in einem so warmen Haus wohnen! Bei uns zu Hause ist es immer so kalt. Ich werde gar nicht mehr richtig warm.“
Sofia zieht jeden Tag mit ihren Geschwistern über die Felder, um Zweige zusammeln, mit denen sie ihren Ofen heizen. Doch es ist trotzdem immer kalt in ihrer Hütte. Einige Tage nach unserem Gespräch hält ein Fahrzeug mit Holz für den ganzen Winter vor ihrer Hütte.
Wir haben einen Forstwirt gefunden, der uns für einen günstigen Preis Brennholz verkauft. Nach unserer Kartoffelaktion und der Gemüseernte steht nun hauptsächlich Brennholz für den Winter auf unserem Programm.
